 Welcome to Cathunters Association of The South, the souths first official catfish club. In this club you will be a part of a growing tidal wave of catfishing enthusiast. Catfishing today is growing faster than ever, this club is to let the rest of the country know the south will not be left behind.
  

  
  

To become a member you will need to do the following

 
  • REGISTRATION is now free to become a memeber.        
  • Fill out the registration forum and send it in with a photo you would like to use as your profile photo.
  • Members are encouraged to be active. Participated in rallies, and on our social. 
  • Members are also encouraged to bring in new and honest active members. 
  • Member’s will be awarded .C.A.T.S Scores based on Rally wins.
  •   We are creating a ranking systems where club members can move up in rank bases on rally wins and fish catches

    Never before has the south had a Catfish Club . We have a vision of cat anglers gathering along the shores of the Souths Rivers competing and meeting with club members about their favorite sport and hobby. This will be our trial year, all support and help with be greatly appreciated. We will need 10 active members to host the first event.

Basic Club Rules
Being a member of C.A.T.S we practice selective harvest. We release fish over 20 pounds for tomorrows generation. If you feel the need to kill everything in order to feed your family or fill the freezer this may not be the place for you. 
  1. Must Be a Member
    Fishing Rallies will be a big part of our club. In order to participate you must be registered with the club and approved by the moderators.
  2. Catch & Release
    All catfish caught during tournaments will be released. There will be a 2-5 fish limit per boat during each rally event. Culling fish at the ramp will not be allowed. A 16 inch limit will be applied to all cats.
  3. Cats Allowed
    Channel cats, blue cats, flathead, bullheads and white catfish will all be eligible for weigh in.
  4. Guest Fees
    Each active member will be allowed to bring one guest to participate in the rally event. Guest are subject to pay tournament entry fee. Kids under 16 fish free
  5. Rod & Reels
    All tournaments are rod and reel only. No trot-lines-jugs or setlines allowed. At cats are are the growing R&R class of catfishermen.
  6. Rallies
    We will be using the word Rally not Tournament. Tournaments are large events where anyone can walk up and fish. Rallies are for club members only.
Membership Fees And Prizes

  2. Big Fish Pot
    A big fish pot will be available during each event
  3. Tournament Entrey free
    $ Debatable
    The entry fee will vary greatly depending on tournament participation
  4. Pay Back
    Rallies will pay back 80% to the club memebers 20% will go to the club
  5. Bragging Board
    After each event a bragging board will be posted for the top finishers. All pounds will be displayed publicly on the club Rallies results
  6. Keep It Simple
    The goal is to keep this as simple as possible. Websites tournaments and all.
